DLBA Banquet Held at Sheridan VFW
The Dunkirk Lakeshore Bowling Association held it annual banquet at the Sheridan VFW on Saturday, June 3. Three new Hall-oFame members were intorduced and Cituy Tournament and Master's Tournament winners were recognized.

DLBA 2023 City Tournament Results
George Pierce Jr. Wins 2023 Masters
George Puerce Jr. defeated Mike Rylowicz in the final match to capture the 23rd Annual Jerry Jesionowski Memorial Masters Tournament. Pierce won all 5 of his matches in the double elimination format. Rylowicz finished 2nd, Steve Dando 3rd, and Alex Haley 4th. There were 63 total entries with 16 bowlers making the final rounds after 8 games.

Three to be Inducted into DLBA Hall of Fame
Anne Haase, Tom Jagoda, and Ted Schwalbe will be inducted into the Dunkirk Lakeshore Bowling Association’s Hall of Fame. It will take place as part of the Association’s Awards Banquet on Saturday, June 3 and the VFW Post in Sheridan.
Anne has been a member of the Association for 43 years. In addition to her bowling exploits, she has helped her husband Greg for over 20 years with the junior program. She has organized events, banquets, fun days and more. She helps keep the Facebook page and website current to provide information to the junior bowlers and families. In addition to bowling in Association tournaments, she has also participated in New York State tournaments and the Women’s Senior Single’s tournament.
Tom has been a member of the Association for 45 years. Among his bowling accomplishments are two 300 games and six 299 games. He has had numerous seasons with averages above 200 (highest 220) and over one hundred 700 series including a high of 775. He has been a member of several league championship teams, seven City Tournament winning teams, and participated in many Master’s Tournaments. He is currently a Board member of the Association.
Ted has been a member of the Association for 35 years and has served as a Board member for the past 10 years. His bowling accomplishments include two 300 games, over fifty 700 series, and a high series of 810. He has also had numerous seasons with averages above 200 (highest 214). He has been a member of three team City Tournament champions and participated in many Masters tournaments. He has also served as President of the Thursday Doubles League for the past 5 years.
